Parks Canada AvalX

Avalanche Bulletin Software AvalX is a forecasting software that provides a standardized forecasting method and bulletin layout to the majority of bulletins in Canada. For this project, we moved away from a traditional text only bulletin and upgraded to a more visual language that focuses on graphics and short focused areas of text. The messages, which appear on the bulletins, are built around specific avalanche problems such as: their location in the terrain, how likely they might be triggered, and how big the resulting avalanches could be.
